Via 313 was born in Austin, Texas, in 2012 when brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt set up a humble trailer and started serving the Detroit-style pizza they'd grown up loving. The name "313" is Detroit's area code — a tribute to the city that gave birth to one of America's most beloved pizza styles.

Today, Via 313 operates multiple locations and continues expanding across the United States.

2012

The Trailer Begins

Brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt launch Via 313 from a food trailer in South Austin, serving Detroit-style pizza to curious locals who quickly fall in love with the square, crispy-edged pies.

2014

First Brick-and-Mortar

Demand grows so strong that Via 313 opens its first permanent location in Austin's Brentwood neighborhood, turning the trailer's loyal fans into dine-in regulars almost overnight.

2016

National Recognition

Food media takes notice. Via 313 earns national press and is hailed as one of the best Detroit-style pizza operations outside Michigan, cementing its place on the Texas food scene.

2018

Texas Expansion

Via 313 expands to multiple Texas cities, bringing via313-style pizza to new communities and welcoming thousands of new fans to the bold, caramelized flavors of Detroit-style pizza.

2021

Franchise Program Launches

Via 313 opens its franchise program, allowing passionate entrepreneurs across the country to bring authentic Detroit-style pizza to their own communities under the Via 313 banner.

2024

Round Rock Opens

Our Round Rock location at 2111 N Interstate Hwy 35 opens its doors, bringing the full Via 313 experience — bold pies, craft drinks, and genuine Texas hospitality — to the Round Rock community.
